About the Owner of Mystery Moncton Escape Rooms

Escape rooms are based on “escape the room” video games, in which a solitary player is locked in a digital “room”, and must explore his or her surroundings in order to “escape”. Real-life escape rooms take that concept one one step further, in which a team of players are locked in a room, and, together, the group must find clues, solve puzzles, and, most of all, cooperate effectively in order to escape.

Brian Richard (Owner and General Manager) has had a love for escape rooms since the Fall of 2014. In the Summer of 2015, he and his brother opened their first escape room location in Cavendish, PEI; however, since Cavendish is a seasonal tourist destination, they decided to open a second, year-round location. Mystery Moncton opened its doors in March, 2016, and since then, we have been offering immersive, puzzle-filled experiences to our guests.
